Summary: Overall Good Phone
Comment: I got this phone for emergencies. I really love it, it has a good color display and cool features. I love the voice recorder, it is constantly being abused by my friends. Some cons of this phone is that the voice quality can get a bit rough, and that it does not include too many games. I am pleased with this phone overall.

Summary: Good cheap phone
Comment: The T290 is cheap, small, light and it contains all the basic functionality for a mobile phone. The sending and receiving ability is always good in most circumstances.
Disadvantages:
-Its response to key press is somewhat slow.
-The voice recording functionality is not very good. The recorded voices are noisy.

Summary: Qaulity phone.. but pricey in the end
Comment: This phone by itself is great. It's simple, sleek and durable. I have dropped it hundreds of times and I still don't have scratches on the front glass. The battery life is amazing, and it has a lot of options within the phone itself if you want to utilize them. However the problems I have been faced with are 1.) the battery charger if stuck in too far for some reason looses its connection, and wont charge. its easy to get around by just making sure the battery life is moving up and down to know its charging then just leave it be. The other problem is cost. $50 is a great value, but I use this only for a few people and I spend well over $100 or more a month on Minutes. its .05 for every txt msg which isnt a bad deal. but the calls are .10 a min. I would only recommend this Pay as you go plan if a.) you really dont talk to too many people but need something in the meantime until you need a more flexible plan, or b.) All of your friend (or at least a majority) also have cingular. because any call between to cingular users is free. I have 2 or 3 but they are not the main people I talk to. So now I am getting a plan.

Oh yeah on a side note. If you want a good but cheap phone to not be traced, this is a wonderful item. Just use cash when you buy it.

Good Features: txt msging, internet, MMS, Great signal (Las Vegas Area), Battery life, options.

Bad features: hard to hear when almost any noise is around, battery charger connection issues over time, cost with non cingular calls, NO MP3 ringtones but they do have polyphonic.
