Summary: Perfect - if you need just a phone
Comment: No camera, no web, no MP3, but great battery life, and fits easily in your pocket. I take this phone when I can leave the BlackBerry at home. Plus I didn't give the boss the number...

Summary: great phone if you don't need all the bells and whistles
Comment: After putting my camera phone thru the wash (LG - it still works but no camera, and it hangs up now and then), I purchased this one. I absolutely love it. The battery life is phenomonal, the screen is very readable, the one touch speaker option is great, not to mention the size and weight of the phone. It fits easily into pockets of jeans, jackets etc. If you are looking for a sleek, easy to use phone (once you get the English manual on-line)this is a great choice.

Summary: OLD SCHOOL
Comment: i was on the fence when i ordered this motofone.
due to the love and hate posted.
i gave it some thought and then some more thought and then ordered it.

my first cell phone was in 94, it was also a motorola. it cost 5 bills then.
this motofone reminds me alot of the old school phones.

but... this phone is a little bit better than those from the 90's.
the phones back then had something of a calculator display.
one line display, to be exact.
the battery life back then... ooo... forget about it.
and i remember how hot the phones would get after talking for a few minutes.
not to mention, my wonderful phone plans then.
30 bucks for 30 minutes a month.

i currently have the sony ericsson k850i.
of course, this isn't... and i'm not about to compare the two.
it's apples and oranges.

as a work phone, it's good.
this phone is to call and get calls and nothing more.

and i've also ordered one additional one for my parents.
it'll be perfect.

push in numbers.
green to call.
red to end call.
red also to ignore calls.

they are currently using the motorola krzr k1.
this will be alot easier for them.

and the text on the screen is huge.

i'm giving this cell phone 4 out of 5 stars the reason is simple.
compared to the nokia 6190, i like the 6190 better.
the 6190 came out years ahead and the user interface is better.

so, this phone is old school.
use it as a back-up.
plus, it's hard to find an unused phone for under 50 bucks.
well... let me correct myself...
unused, unlocked simple phone.
i just remember there's some pre-paid phones out there that are about 20 bucks. but you have to use that company's services... ie: the pre-paid companies inside the walmarts and targets (don't remember the names).

well, i hope this is somewhat helpful.

Summary: Unboxing and comments on the F3
Comment: Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1X8J097E0ZAIG I have enjoyed unboxing and first impression videos made by others. When my F3 arrived, I took out the camera and talked about it a bit. I am very impressed by this simple little phone.

Summary: just a phone
Comment: Motorola MOTOFONE F3 Black Phone (Unlocked, Intl. Version) no U.S. Warranty

I bought this phone because I wanted "just a phone". This is as basic a phone as they come. Complaints: battery life isn't as long as I had expected (a week in standby mode, max.); also, buttons are pushed too easily when it is bouncing around in my coat pocket.
