Summary: 8GB is NOT "North American" version - no 3G support Comment: BEWARE! The 8GB version, while useable in the US, is not the "north american" version advertised. While Nokia does have the regular N95 in a "North American" version (meaning 3G compatibility on the 850 and 1900 bands), they have not released a North american 8GB edition yet. So this phone only has 3G on the 2100 band.
The 8GB N95 is actually a GREAT phone and is useable in the US, but you should know that you won't get 3G speeds until (and if) an actual "North American" version comes out - unless you get the regualr N95 in its US flavor.
I'd WOULD have given it 4 stars as it's already better than an iPhone (a 3 star in my book) with an FM radio, a better camera, and numerous other advantages(a real US edition would get 5, as it would then be faster than an iPhone at internet tasks) but this misleading label (not Nokia's fault, it's the seller) gets it knocked down to 1 star.

Summary: Story of a scam Comment: I bought from Electronica Direct this item, they send me a N95-4 which cost 549$, but they charge me 644$, they didn't give a right answer, They offer the Intl. version and they send the US version, more cheaper, but they charge you the expensive one, that's a scam!
DON'T BUY FROM ELECTRONICA DIRECT!!!

Summary: NOT 3G US COMPATIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! Comment: I just place an order for this phone because Amazon claimed that this phone was 3G US Compatible, but turns out that it's not. I'm in the process of returning the phone and getting my refund. Amazon really should take down the 3G claim because they're losing money on returns.
